Welcome to the final weeks of 2017. Firstly, many congratulations to the winners at our annual awards and dinner in October and to both of our adult teams , particularly the 1st XI who have earned promotion to the top division for next season.
Since then we have enjoyed a wonderful quiz event run by Francis. This raised valuable funds and if you’d like to learn how the Club’s money is spent (and why fundraising like this is important) then please come along to our AGM on Sunday 10th December.
The next events following the AGM are the Christmas Social on 21st December and the commencement of the Junior Winter Nets sessions in January. Francis Booth will be sending out information on the latter shortly. In the meantime, we are actively and urgently looking for new committee members to enhance our existing group of volunteers so if you feel you would like to help, please contact me directly. I look forward to seeing many of you at our AGM where I will be handing out mince pies to all attendees!
