We’re excited to introduce a fantastic opportunity open to ALL adult members of Speldhurst Cricket Club – including junior parents, senior players, and anyone affiliated with the club.
What is the £5 Club?
The £5 Club is a monthly fundraising initiative designed to:
- Support SCC’s ongoing investment in playing and coaching facilities
- Give you the chance to win a cash prize every month!
How It Works:
- Join by setting up a £5 monthly direct debit to the club’s bank account (details below).
- You can sign up anytime, provided it’s before the deadline for the next monthly prize draw.
- You can hold multiple memberships to increase your chances of winning! (e.g. parents can buy an extra entry for each junior cricketer).
- 50% of each £5 goes directly to improving club facilities.
- The remaining 50% is pooled into a monthly prize draw for all paid-up members.
Example:
- If just 10 people join: The club earns £25/month (£300/year). Each member has a 1 in 10 chance of winning the £25 monthly prize
- If 24 people join: The monthly prize becomes £85 and the club raises £1,020 per year
Prize Draw Details:
During the season: Draws take place after a league fixture
Off-season: Draws will be held at a club social event or by a trusted committee member
Important Dates:
- First Draw: Saturday 24th May
- Sign-Up Deadline: Wednesday 21st May
