Firstly, thank you to everyone who’s donated to our GoFundMe page aiming to help fund our emergency shed re-build over the Spring.
For anyone who’s been to the Rec recently, you’ll agree that our new shed is much better and more effective than our previous sheds, and is looking resplendent in the sun.
We’re still a little way off our target of repaying the loans (more details here) so if you’re able to spare any change, big or small, please donate here.

We’re also happy to share that we’ll be purchasing another mobile net for our Junior Cricket section.
Our JC section is burgeoning thanks to the ongoing work of Francis Booth and his vast teams of parents and coaches. The Rec is full to the brim on Friday nights and Saturday mornings with youngsters ranging from 5 to 15, and we have competitive teams in most of those age groups as well.
These mobile nets are incredibly valuable and will be well used by all our Junior Cricketers. Please donate if you can! It’s essential we invest in the younger half of our club as they represent the future of the club and community, and helps bring the great sport of cricket to as many people as possible.
